(T2) Lusterka / Mirrors

Standardowa modyfikacja durnych lusterek dostępnych na rynku amerykańskim. Lusterka w T2 są ogromne, a widoczność niewielka.	This is a standard modification of the stupid mirrors available on the US market. The mirrors in T2 are huge, but visibility is tragic.

Touareg był fabrycznie wyposażony w samościemniające lusterko zewnętrzne tylko po stronie kierowcy. Po zdjęciu tapicerki drzwi pasażera okazało się, że przewody sterujące samościemnianiem są doprowadzone do wtyczki w drzwiach, trzeba je tylko przeciągnąć do lusterka.	Touareg came with just driver's side auto-dimming mirror. After removing the passenger's side door panel it turned out the wires controlling auto-dimming are routed to the plug inside the door, so the only requirement was to route them from the doors to the mirror.

Zdjąć panel drzwi: 2 śruby Torx T30 pod uchwytem, 2 śruby Torx T25 od spodu i 6 zapinek od środka. Odłączyć wtyczki głośnika i włączników, odpiąć wężyk klamki. Zdjąć głośnik wysokotonowy (jest tylko wpięty). Odłączyć i odkęcić lusterko (3 śruby Torx T30 pod głośnikiem wysokotonowym). Wyjąć szkło lusterka (podważyć). Odkręcić 4 śruby Torx T10 mocujące pokrywę lusterka. Podważyć delikatnie pokrywę i zdjąć ją. Przewlec wiązkę (dostępną np. tutaj) przez plastikową rurkę przy pomocy sztywnego drutu. Podłączyć wiązkę w nastęujący sposób: kabel czarny - pin 1 we wtyczce w lusterku i pin 1 we wtyczce w drzwiach, kabel zółty, pin 2 we wtyczce w lusterku i pin 2 we wtyczce w drzwiach. Instalacja w odwrotnej kolejności.	Remove door panel: 2 Torx T30 bolts under the handle, 2 Torx T25 bolts from the bottom and 6 clips inside. Unplug the speaker and switches, disconnect door lock cable. Remove tweeter (it is just clipped). Unplug and remove the mirror (3 Torx T30 bolts under the tweeter). Remove mirror glass (wedge). Remove 4 Torx T10 bolts holding the mirror cover. Wedge the cover and remove it. Route the harness (available e.g. here) through the plastic tube in the mirror base using wire hanger. Connect the harness in the following way: black wire - pin 1 in mirror plug and pin 1 in door plug, yellow wire - pin 2 in the mirror plug and pin 2 in the door plug. Installation in the reversal order.
