(4L) Wentylator dmuchawy / Heater fan

Wentylator dmuchawy w Q7 zachorował na przypadłość znaną już z Tuarega: najpierw piszczał, potem padł do reszty i przestał się kręcić. Tym razem nie miałem czasu na zabawę z smarowanie i zwyczajnie kupiłem nowy. Wyjęcie dmuchawy to nie problem: po zdjęciu dolnej pokrywy deski i wyjęciu schowka odkręciłem 7 śrub i wentylator razem z obudową wyjechał w dół. Szczotki zjechane po 45 tysiącach mil to kpina z kupującego. Powinni byli dać jakiś indukcyjny silnik na porządnych kulkowych łożyskach. Ale wiadomo że to koszt.

The heater fan in Q7 showed the same symptoms as previously in Touareg: it was squeaking initially only to completely die and stop rotating. This time I did not have time to play with packing grease so I just replaced it with the new one. Pulling it out from the heater is easy: after removing foot well cover and glove box I unbolted 7 screws and the fan with the cover went down. Brushes eaten after 45k are one big joke. They should have install brushless motor with some good ball bearings. But of course it costs more.
